Dr. Aaron T. Kinzel
President & Founding Board Member
Is a justice-impacted criminologist from the University of Michigan that brings decades of experience in community advocacy and strategic leadership, focusing on dismantling systemic barriers to reentry.
Lawanda Hollister
Vice president & Board member
Was justice-impacted as a juvenile and spent many years in prison. She has found redemption through fierce advocacy and currently works as the Executive Director of We the People Opportunity Farm
Jay Elias
Treasurer & Founding board member
Is a justice-impacted graduate student in Counseling and Art Therapy at Wayne State University. He is an Artist and Military Veteran dedicated to ensuring transparency and ethical stewardship of all fundraising and financial resources within the organization.
Candice Tudor, MS, MA, TLLP
Secretary & Board Member
Is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Michigan School of Psychology who develops clinical trauma-informed programs and connects clients to mental health and substance abuse services.

Strategy
Strategic leadership involves setting high-level goals and approving programs that dismantle systemic barriers for the justice-impacted community.
Financial Stewardship
Maintaining fiscal responsibility and transparency to ensure that every dollar contributed fuels the fight for second chances effectively.
Community Accountability
The Board acts as a direct link to the community, ensuring our work is informed by lived experience and remains accountable to those we serve.
